StayStream Hospitality is a boutique consulting agency based in Kozhikode. We work with independent hotels, heritage resorts, and homestays across Kerala to build revenue strategies that work — across direct bookings, OTA channels, and everything in between.
Our Story
Built from inside the industry
StayStream was built by people who have run properties — not by marketers who spotted a gap. We have sat on both sides of the table: managing rooms, setting rates, negotiating with OTA account managers, and watching booking windows shift with the seasons.
That experience gives us a clear-eyed view of the hospitality business. OTAs are not the villain in this story. Booking.com and MakeMyTrip have genuinely transformed demand access for independent properties, particularly for hotels that would otherwise struggle to reach international and out-of-state guests. They earn their commissions.
But commission is not a fixed cost of doing business. The question is never "OTAs or no OTAs" — it is "what is the right channel mix for this property, at this season, at this occupancy target?" We built StayStream to answer that question with precision, for Kerala properties specifically.
